Youth Internship Programme with WF-AID

Our Youth Internship Programme offers young people the opportunity to gain meaningful experience while supporting impactful humanitarian and community focused initiatives.

Running over 8 weeks from July to August, the programme is designed to help participants develop practical skills, build confidence, and understand how purpose driven organisations operate.

Through hands on involvement and guided learning, interns are supported to grow personally and professionally while contributing to work that serves communities locally and globally.

What interns will do

Interns will gain practical experience by supporting real projects and working alongside experienced staff and volunteers. Depending on the role, responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with project planning and delivery
  • Supporting administrative and organisational tasks
  • Contributing to fundraising
  • Participating in team meetings and learning sessions
  • Developing professional, communication, and teamwork skills

The programme balances hands on experience with learning opportunities to ensure interns gain meaningful insight into humanitarian and community based work.
