WF-AID would like to extend our deepest gratitude to The Mohsin & Fauzia Jaffer Foundation in USA for their generous donation of USD $35,561.96. Their altruistic donation allowed 50 deserving couples from disadvantaged families to join in blessed matrimony.
Their charitable funds were successfully and wholly utilized to host the collective wedding ceremony of these 50 couples as well as gifting them with wedding suits and essential household items. They provided these couples with the possibility to begin a new chapter of their lives together.
This Report will provide quantitative and qualitative insight into the impact of your noble donation on the lives of these destitute couples.
OVERVIEW
LOCATION:
The collective marriage ceremony was hosted on the 13th of January 2022 at the Al-Fajar Institute in the Mari Indus town, which is located in the Mianwali district of Pakistan.
The couples were deserving Momineens from the following districts:
- Mianwali District
- Bhakkar District
- Layyah District
- District of Chiniot of Punjab Province
- District of I Khan of KPK Province.
Respected community members, ministers, and religious leaders blessed and inaugurated the ceremony. Mohsinbhai Gheewala (WF Councillor) and Mr. Muhammad Mustafabhai Hemani (WF Regional Manager of Pakistan) also attended the ceremony on stage.
The ceremony was also supported by other donors, bringing the total to 110 marriages being hosted at the Al-Fajar Institute. During the ceremony, the speakers and beneficiaries expressed their immense gratitude to The Mohsin & Fauzia Jaffer Foundation for granting them with the possibility of a new life.

The programme gifted the newly-wedded couple with religious books, including the Holy Quran, Tauzeh ul Masail, Wazaif Ul Ibrar, & Nahjul Balagha. These books are stamped to show the Mohsin & Fauzia Jaffer Logo and slogan, along with the WF-AID logo, and the beneficiaries were asked to recite Quran and Duaa for their generous donors who made their marriage happen.
