This year, WF-AID, in partnership with trusted teams on the ground, will again organise Hajj Qurbani services for Eid al-Adha 2026. Qurbani is a sacred and profound tradition observed during Eid al-Adha. Each year, it calls us back to the spirit of sacrifice embodied by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) – a testament to unwavering trust, devotion, and submission to Allah (SWT).

Hajj Qurbani is performed to commemorate Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail (AS) in complete submission to Allah. Observed on the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah, this act symbolises devotion and obedience, and commemorates Allah’s mercy in providing a ram in place of Ismail (AS). It also serves as a powerful gesture of charity, ensuring that those in need are able to partake in Eid.
The meat from the sacrifice is distributed among family, friends, and most importantly, those in need – bringing nourishment, joy, and dignity to communities during one of the most sacred times in the Islamic calendar.

Goat Qurbani for just $55 USD / £40 GBP.

Eid al-Adha is a time for reflection, humility, and gratitude for the many blessings we often take for granted. It is also a time to act – to spread compassion, to lift others, and to magnify the guidance of Allah (SWT) through our deeds.
