My name is Yusuf and I am 9 years old. I live in a tent in a Gaza displacement camp with my mum and baby sister, after losing my father and home in the war. In the first weeks of displacement, my mum walked for hours every day to find water, much of it unsafe to drink. Thanks to WF-AID’s water distribution in the camp, I now collect clean drinking water for my family from a nearby water point each day. My baby sister no longer cries from thirst, and I am proud to be one who provides for my family.
