My name is Omar and I am 10 years old. I live in a tent in a Gaza displacement camp with my mum and younger siblings. As the eldest, I carry far more responsibility than a child should. Thanks to WF-AID’s hot meals distribution, a volunteer now visits our row of tents twice a week with warm bags of rice, lentils and bread. Each delivery feeds my family and reminds us we have not been forgotten. I dream of doing the same work for other children one day.
