During the Holy month of Ramadan, WF-AID will be providing support to families in need by distributing Food Packs and empowering impoverished communities through long term and sustainable solutions, to help them during the Holy month and beyond.
In developing countries, 3.1 million children die every single year due to poor nutrition and millions more live in unimaginable conditions without a proper source of food and nutrition.
During the Holy month of Ramadan, WF-AID aims to tackle starvation within some of the most heavily-deprived parts of Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
Many families face an endless fast every day in impoverished countries, without the comfort of knowing they will have a meal for iftaar. By providing food rations and sustainable food solutions to food insecurity, you can help relieve people’s hunger in Shahr Ramadan and beyond.

Feeding Families in Shahr Ramadan:
The Food Packs we distribute will give refugees and families a rare opportunity to receive essential nutritional aid, which they rely on for the strength they need to carry on building a normal life. The food allows them to have a nutritious meal for iftaar and in extreme cases, a fulfilling meal can be the difference between life and death.
Empowering impoverished communities:
We will be providing the training courses, essential equipment, support and resources people need to improve their standard of living and work towards economic self-sufficiency, giving new hope to poverty-stricken communities and relieving food insecurity beyond the Holy month of Ramadan.
