The Imam Hasan Foundation, based in New South Wales, Australia, are a non-profit organisation aiming to deliver essential aid to people suffering from poverty around the world. In the past few months, the Imam Hasan Foundation has raised funds for Phase Two of our Pakistan Emergency Appeal, which involves constructing housing units in Pakistan to shelter and protect families.
Torrential monsoon rains have triggered severe flooding in Pakistan, with countless buildings and houses being washed away. Thousands of individuals have lost their homes, and without protection and shelter from the cold and flooding, they are at deep risk for many health issues. Imam Hasan Foundation has kindly raised AUD $450,000+ towards the construction of housing units in flood-affected areas of Pakistan, helping families whose lives have been devastated by the torrential rains.
The second phase of our Emergency Appeal is critical for the socioeconomic development of Pakistan, and providing housing is the first step in the rehabilitation of the community and returning to their normal lives.
