Your donations to our Ali Asghar Water appeal last year have been utilised in providing urgently needed Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) facilities for 1,000 people a day in Pakistan.
With your generosity, a total of 32 washroom facilities have been constructed across 4 schools and 6 mosques. 18 washrooms were built in schools along with a wudhu (ablution) area, and 14 washrooms were built in mosques in towns and villages across the
Mianwali District in Punjab, Pakistan, including Mari Indus, Pakki Shah Mardan, and Piplan.
Some of these schools and mosques didn’t have existing facilities and others were unusable, leaving the local people in urgent need.
