Parachinar, which is a town west of Peshawar in Pakistan, is currently facing a severe humanitarian crisis. Despite a temporary ceasefire, recent violence has left the Shi’a community in distress, with over 50 killed and 200 injured. Roads are blocked, hospitals overwhelmed, and essential supplies cut off. This conflict, linked to sectarian tensions and land disputes, threatens the stability of the area. WF-AID is closely monitoring the situation, reaching out to affected families, and planning a response to provide essential support and aid to the community.
