Our Brighter Futures appeal facilitates education for children living in impoverished communities around the world.
In Nepal, your donations have funded school equipment for Afghanistani and Rohingya refugees. Due to the pandemic and income being affected, parents weren’t able to buy books and other necessities for their children’s education. We provided 70 children aged between 5 and 18 with school bags, pencil cases, books, and juice cartons.
One of our beneficiaries is Muhammad*, who is studying an IT (information technology) course. His father is an electrical technician and is the sole earner in the family. Unfortunately, his wages aren’t enough to cover his son’s educational expenses as the course is priced high. Your donations fund his tuition fees, allowing him to continue his course, take his exams, and follow his dream. Once he has finished his education, he will be more employable and able to earn a decent wage.
