THE RESPONSE
In response, WF-AID has activated its networks on the ground to assess incoming information and resources required to assist those in need in the most efficient way. Our teams on the ground are working tirelessly to provide vital information and ensure that aid reaches those who need it the most. We are working with reputable agencies on the ground, including the Iraqi Red Crescent Society, with whom WF-AID has a long-standing working relationship.
THE FOCUS
In this emergency situation, our immediate focus is to provide food, shelter, and medicine to those affected. At a later phase, rehabilitating the victims would be assessed.
THE RELIEF
Our ground partners have already delivered 6 shipments of emergency food packets, medical equipment, tents, kitchen sets and first aid kits.
