For over ten years, the Ali Asghar Water Appeal has strived to provide better access to water for many water-scarce communities.
Last year, with your help, we installed four water wells in villages across Pakistan, reaching 3,175 people living without access to clean and safe water.
Our partners on the ground identified District Rajanpur and District Dera Ghazi Khan as two locations in need of immediate attention, noting that the current water sources have become bitter and animals and humans alike, drink water from the same rainy water pond.
Two villages in these districts had a lack of electrical facilities, so we installed solar submersible wells in those locations and then two electrical submersible wells in the other two villages.
