It gives me great pleasure to share the WF-AID 2018/19 Annual Review with you, which highlights the work your donations have enabled.

Looking back at the past year, I feel very blessed with our achievements and the impact we’ve all had on the lives of those in need.

One of our main focuses this year has been to deliver sustainable solutions for communities in need. We believe in empowering people and giving them the tools they need to build a life for themselves. We are passionate about leading people towards a better standard of living and self-sufficiency. We have been achieving this through long term water projects, microfinance, training and education, which you can read more about in this report.

SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS

At WF-AID, we are passionate about providing individuals with the support and resources they need to improve their standard of living and work towards economic self-sufficiency.

ALI ASGHAR WATER APPEAL

This year, we worked on building long-term sustainable water solutions across Pakistan, Bangladesh and Kenya to provide communities with access to clean water.

ECONOMIC UPLIFTMENT

We have been creating employment opportunities for women in Syria and Pakistan by training them to gain the skills required to earn a living for their families.

EMERGENCY RELIEF

Throughout the year, we have responded to emergency situations to provide urgent humanitarian assistance to those in need.

YEMEN

WF-AID has been actively providing emergency supplies to people in Yemen since the beginning of the conflict.

DISPLACED SYRIANS

We provide continuous support to displaced Syrian widows orphans and families affected by the ongoing conflict.

GLOBAL RELIEF

Through our partners and teams on the ground, we’re providing humanitarian aid to vulnerable communities around the world.

RAMADAN RELIEF

Our annual Ramadan Relief appeal helps to alleviate some of the hardships many families face during the Holy month of Ramadan.

WINTER APPEAL

WF-AID’s Winter Appeal provides warm clothes, blankets and heaters for those who cannot afford warmth and heating in severe cold weather.

ZCSS

The Zainabiyya Child Sponsorship Scheme (ZCSS) has been shaping the lives of students since 1981 in India, Pakistan, Kenya and Tanzania.

FILL MY CUP

For over six years, we have been running the Fill My Cup appeal which provides a nutritious breakfast every morning to students in Kenya and Tanzania.
