The Al Asghary Housing Project in Dar es Salaam was a joint project between The World Federation’s humanitarian arm, WF-AID, and Africa Federation, in collaboration with the KSI Jamaat of Dar es Salaam. The aim was to create more housing opportunities for the community members, and most importantly so that they can eventually own their own home. This project was the first Rent-to-Own scheme by the group of organisations.
We are pleased to report that the building work has been completed and the opening ceremony of the Al Asghary Housing Project was held on Sunday 29th April 2018, following the conclusion of the 80th AFED Supreme Council Session.
